The Madriaga's and Corona Animal Hospital
We were founded in 1922 as the first and only Veterinary Hospital in Corona. Since then we are only the third owner to the date.
April of 1999 Dr. Fred and Jennifer Madriaga aquired Corona Animal Hospital from Dr. and Mrs. Duane Hauser. They were the second owners and felt we were the right fit to pass the torch on to. Dr. Hauser left for Arizona to build their retirement home and live the rest of their lives seeing the world. He keeps himself busy, believe it or not, doing cross-stich and cutting stain glass for his wife. They are both very happy and healthy and enjoying their time together.
Dr. Madriaga graduated from Cornell School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1995. From there he came back home to practice in Riverside where he met his wife Jennifer. Working in the veterinary field since she was fourteen, Jennifer comes from a background of business and management and was managing veterinary hospitals when they met. They married in 1996 and moved on to both do what they did best until they decided to join in on their ventures to aquire Corona Animal Hospital. Since then they have had three beautiful daughters and have enjoyed growing with the community of Corona. It is still a small town in a big town atmosphere and we enjoy seeing people of the community in public. Corona is growing very fast but it still seems to keep that very down home feeling and everyone still recognizes each other which is wonderful.
OUR STAFF
Traci Hinks is our office manager and comes to us with years of experience in the field. She is wonderful to work with and can help you out with any questions or concerns you may have.
Our support staff include our receptionists; Traci, Brittany, and Mandy. Our technicians are Jose, Danny, and Jeff. Most of our support staff have either been in the field for numerous years or are currently attending pre-vet school and are working their way to vet school.
